MARIETTA, W.Va. St. Luke's Lutheran Church lightened the load off of the Marietta community. St. Luke's Lutheran Church is giving back to the Marietta community by doing their laundry. Patrons of the Old Town Express Laundry were greeted by members of the church who took a load off of their hands by washing their laundry. The members of the church volunteered and spent their Saturday doing a great deed.
They told patrons to come back and their clothes will be fluffed and folded. "It's just a mission that some of us really…this is what we want to do. We try to get the end of the school year and before school starts. We try to help people get all their kids clothes and get them already for school," said Vickie Graham, member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. St. Luke's Lutheran Church would like people to know that they are visible in the community and welcome them with loads of love.
