Christianity is the “greatest revolutionary movement” the western world has ever seen, paving the way for secularism, the civil rights movement, the Beatles and even #MeToo, according to a radical new history of the religion. In his book Dominion: the Making of the Western Mind, the historian and documentary presenter Tom Holland argues that Christianity is a major catalyst for transformation.
